Education Investigation

Separating the wheat from the chaff

About Me

My name is Jamin Lietze and I am a Primary (Elementary) School Teacher here in New Zealand.

My blog “Education Investigation” grew out of the desire to grow, learn and share with the online education network. It is a professional blog and so I remain focused and share only that which relates to educational matters.

My purpose with this blog is twofold.
A) I want to “separate the wheat from the chaff”; this means that I want to identify what works educationally and share this with others. I know that there are some ICT tools and things that we do in the classroom that are not enhancing teaching or learning.
B) As a result of my desire to be a better educator for my students and parents, I have questions about education. I hope by being part of a network of teachers that are striving to see teaching and learning improve, that together we can answer these questions and grow
